CT Technologist Position

7A-7P, block scheduling possible. This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient individuals under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This role involves performing a variety of radiographic procedures, including but not limited to basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Conduct biopsy and drainage procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating CT systems and processing images.
• Comply with surgical and sterile procedures, and studies with or without contrast media.
• Maintain knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and procedural safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT certification in Radiology.
• Valid MRT/TMB license in the state.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT.
• Must be registered in Connecticut.
• Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
