CT Technologist

This is a night shift position, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Job Description
The CT Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the supervision of a Radiologist. This role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures while adhering to departmental protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct CT scanning procedures for various body parts including head, neck, spine, thorax, abdomen, and pelvis.
- Perform basic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including portable and C-arm imaging services.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards during imaging processes.
- Process and manage data using the CT system effectively.
- Assist in surgical/sterile procedures and imaging studies with or without contrast media.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- ARRT certification and a valid MRT/TMB license.
- BLS certification.
- Must possess at least 2 years of related experience.
- Registered in the state of Connecticut.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school.
