Forklift Operator / Revisador

Position Summary
The Forklift Operator / Revisador is responsible for safely operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts while performing inspection, verification, and warehouse support activities. This role ensures accurate movement, loading, unloading, inspection, and documentation of merchandise in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts

Load and unload merchandise, pallets, and materials from trucks and trailers

Move inventory throughout warehouse locations and storage areas

Stage, stack, organize, and store materials according to operational requirements

Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues

Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
Revisador / Inspection Duties

Inspect inbound and outbound merchandise for accuracy and quality

Verify quantities, SKUs, labels, and shipment documentation

Compare packing lists, manifests, invoices, and shipping documents against physical inventory

Inspect freight for damages, shortages, or discrepancies

Ensure proper labeling, pallet identification, and shipment accuracy

Audit shipments before release to ensure customer requirements are met

Report discrepancies, damaged products, or shortages to management
-
Perform receiving and shipping verification processes
Warehouse Support Functions

Use RF scanners, handheld devices, or warehouse systems when applicable

Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

Coordinate with warehouse personnel, shipping, receiving, and operations teams

Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts required

Minimum 1 year of warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or revisador experience preferred

Forklift certification preferred

Basic computer and math skills

Experience with shipping and receiving documentation preferred

Experience using RF scanners or warehouse systems is a plus
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach for extended periods

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures

Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules when required
